Most building owners treat concrete damage as a cosmetic issue. A crack gets painted over. A patch of spalling gets plastered. The building looks fine for another season until the water gets deeper into the structure, the rebar starts corroding, and the repair bill multiplies several times over.
Fix and Fine approaches concrete repair as a structural issue first and a surface issue second. We identify what is causing the damage, stop it at the source, and restore the element to a condition that performs correctly going forward. That order of operations matters more than any product or technique we apply.
Serving clients across India with 17+ years of engineering experience, ISO 9001:2015 certification, and 500+ completed projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure structures.
Concrete fails for specific reasons. Carbonation, chloride ingress, poor original mix design, inadequate cover to reinforcement, thermal cycling, and sustained water infiltration all degrade the material in different ways and at different rates.
A concrete repair contractor identifies which failure mechanism is at work, selects the right repair system for that cause, prepares the substrate correctly, and applies materials that bond with the existing concrete and match its mechanical behaviour. Skipping any of those steps is why so many concrete repairs fail within a few years of being done.
Fix and Fine carries out condition surveys before any repair specification is finalised. The results determine the product selection, the repair depth, and the sequence of work. Clients receive a clear written scope before anything begins on site.
Concerned about concrete deterioration on your building? Call us now.Cracks in concrete are entry points for water, chlorides, and carbonation. We use epoxy and polyurethane injection systems for suitable concrete cracks, with the injection method and material selected according to the crack condition, structural requirements, and water ingress.
Spalling is the visible symptom of a deeper problem. Once rebar begins to corrode, it expands and breaks apart the concrete cover around it. We remove all delaminated concrete, treat exposed reinforcement with corrosion-inhibiting primer, build up the section using cementitious repair mortars, and apply a suitable protective coating to help protect the repaired area and reduce the risk of further deterioration.
Weathered, stained, or eroded concrete surfaces on facades, columns, walls, and floors are restored using polymer-modified mortars, protective coatings, and surface sealers. We work on buildings, car parks, bridges, retaining walls, and industrial structures across India where surface deterioration has affected the appearance or protection of the element.
Where a structural element has lost significant section due to deterioration, concrete jacketing restores and increases its load capacity by casting new reinforced concrete around the existing element. We carry out jacketing work on columns, beams, and foundations as part of broader structural rehabilitation programmes.
The repair mortar is not the hard part. Getting concrete repair to last is about preparation: removing all contaminated and delaminated material, creating the right bonding surface, priming correctly, and applying the right product at the right thickness in the right conditions. Contractors who underestimate any of those steps consistently produce repairs that debond, crack again, or hold moisture against the rebar they were supposed to protect.
Our teams are trained in substrate assessment, surface preparation standards, and the application requirements of the repair systems we use. Fix and Fine is an authorised applicator of MAPEI products for North India and a member of the Dr. Fixit Champion Waterproofers Premier Club.
We do not quote for concrete repair without first understanding what has caused it. Fix and Fine assesses project requirements before developing the appropriate concrete repair scope. Clients know exactly what is being done and why before any work begins.
Fix and Fine is an authorised applicator of MAPEI products for North India and a member of the Dr. Fixit Champion Waterproofers Premier Club. Our teams follow the required application procedures and quality controls for these systems.
Quality management on every Fix and Fine project is governed by a certified Standard Operating Procedure. Our ISO-certified quality management system and Standard Operating Procedure support consistent execution, quality control, and project documentation.
With 500+ completed projects and an established presence across India, Fix and Fine has the experience to handle concrete repair projects across different building types and scales.
Find answers to common questions about concrete repair and structural strengthening.
Concrete repair is the process of restoring deteriorated, cracked, or damaged concrete elements to their original structural and protective performance. It is needed when concrete shows visible cracking, spalling, staining, or delamination, or when a condition survey reveals carbonation, chloride ingress, or rebar corrosion beneath the surface.
The most common causes in India are carbonation of the concrete cover, chloride attack in coastal or industrial environments, inadequate reinforcement cover in original construction, monsoon-driven water infiltration, and thermal cycling. Each cause produces different crack patterns and requires a different repair approach.
Epoxy injection can be used for suitable structural cracks to restore continuity across the crack, while polyurethane injection can be used for active water-bearing cracks to help seal against water ingress. The appropriate system depends on the crack condition and repair requirements.
A correctly specified and applied concrete repair can provide long-term performance when the underlying cause is addressed and the substrate is properly prepared. Service life depends on the repair system, substrate condition, environmental exposure, and quality of application.
Concrete repair can often be planned and phased to minimise disruption to building occupants and ongoing operations. The approach depends on the repair scope, site conditions, access, and safety requirements.
Yes. Fix and Fine carries out concrete repair on a wide range of infrastructure, including bridges, flyovers, multi-level car parks, and retaining walls across India. Infrastructure repair often involves additional assessment steps and traffic management, which we factor into the project plan from the start.
Fix and Fine follows structured quality procedures and maintains project records as required by the project scope. Warranty terms depend on the materials, repair system, and project requirements.
